The summer travel ball season is fully underway with events and college coaches on-site at major tournaments such as the P5 Patriot Games that wrapped up on Sunday.

We were there and so were well over 100 college coaches in attendance which we documented (click HERE to see the sign-in sheets proving this to be true!).

Other major club tournaments and showcases going on over the last few weeks that Line Drive Media has reported on have included The Summer Games 2026 at OKC, Scenic City, TFL Summer Championship and Top Club among others.

But even with all these tourneys and showcases going on, the recruiting process involving player commits continues to roll on and we have dozens more we’ve added to our Master Verbal Database that has surpassed over 3,000 since Sept. 1 of last year!

An interesting trend happening more this year than the past is that a handful of players who originally committed to one school are making a change to another… the prep version of the transfer portal!

Our front page commit Abby Zawadzki was one and another is talented 2027 catcher Bella Bourque of Rhode Island Thunder – Lotti who switched her verbal commit from South Carolina to Virginia:
