The USA Softball National Team will be in Castions di Strada, Italy, all next week for the WBSC World Cup Finals that begins on Monday, July 15, 2024, and conclude on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

The No. 1 ranked USA team leads Group A in its search for a record 12th title and will compete alongside Canada, China and the host country Italy. Australia, Japan, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico will battle it out in Group B:

Group A: No. 5 Canada, No. 15 China, No. 6 Italy and No. 1 United States
Group B: No. 10 Australia, No. 2 Japan, No. 8 Netherlands, No. 3 Puerto Rico

The U.S. Women’s National Team won the last edition of the series in 2018 and are the defending World Champions after taking gold at the 2022 World Games. 

Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medalists Ally Carda, Rachel Garcia, Haylie McCleney and Dejah Mulipola return with the U.S. national team in its quest to defend the World Title in Italy. 

Young stars Sis Bates, Ally Carda, Mia Davidson, Megan Faraimo, Hannah Flippen and Savannah Jaquish—who led USA to victory last year on the group stage—all return to help finish the job.
