2030 P Malloree Harr of Frost Falcons, #3 in the 2030 Line Drive Hot 100, has joined Line Drive Softball to provide live blogs during her journey to compete in the WBSC U-15 Women’s Americas Qualifier from March 22-29 in Acapulco, Mexico.

Here’s Malloree’s blog from Saturday, March 22, 2025:

Today is the day, our first game against Brazil! (I) started my day off with breakfast in the lobby and then had a quick team meeting. After the team meeting, we waited in the lobby for our bus to take us to the field.

Once we got to the field, we went through our warm-up routine. I was pretty pumped that I was going to be the starting pitcher for the game. I was very nervous, but excited at the same time. My teammates are amazing and I knew they had my back.

After warm-ups, we were ready to hit the field. The umpires came to our dugout and did a bat and helmet inspection before the game. Then the coaches met at home plate. After the home plate meeting, we were ready for introductions and national anthems for Brazil and USA. After the anthems, it was time for the game to start and we took the field as the home team. I had a solid first inning with three up three down. On offense, we scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Back in the circle I go for the second inning. Another solid inning with three strikeouts.
