The event is sanctioned by USA Softball of Sacramento under the leadership of Program Director Karla Burkett, representing an important step toward rejuvenating and strengthening USA Softball participation throughout Northern California.

LTG coach and college liaison Cat Carrisosa is the organizer of both the tournament/showcase and Saturday’s recruiting camp.
Carrisosa has made it a priority to create meaningful opportunities for athletes, families and college programs by bringing competitive softball and college recruiting exposure together under one event.
“Events like this are about creating opportunities for our athletes,” she says.
“Bringing more than 70 teams together, along with college coaching staffs from across the country, gives players an opportunity to be seen, compete and take another important step in their recruiting journey.”
“Just as importantly, we’re excited to continue growing USA Softball in the Sacramento area. We want to see this organization continue to grow and provide opportunities for athletes throughout our region.”
With teams traveling from multiple states, more than 30 college programs represented and athletes competing across four age divisions, the LTG and USA Softball partnership is bringing together competition, recruiting exposure and the continued growth of the game.
