We continue our Line Drive Media look at the Class of 2028 and break down these outstanding players today by POSITION.

Over the last month we’ve honored these softball standouts in the Line Drive Media 2028 HOT 100 as well as the players “on the bubble” (those ranked 101+).

Also coming up this week:

• the 2028 Regional Rankings
• a spotlight on the No. 1 Ranked Player

Today, we honor these elite players by their positions and – as many players can take the field at multiple spots – we placed them at the positions we feel they are mostly likely to play or were recommended to us by club and/or college coaches.

• P – (pitcher… the main focus is pitching)
• C – (catcher… primary position)
• IF – (infield… can play the corners or middle infield)
• OF – (outfield… can play left field, center field and/or right field)
