Uncommitted 2027 C/3B Juliana “Goose” Hutchens recently talked to Line Drive Media about Iowa Premier National-Dickel, placing 5th at 18U Alliance Nationals, Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, hacky sack teammates, being one of the youngest teammates, future college, helping young athletes, math, Kinzie Hansen, reading articles, Missy Elliott and “Major League.”

Nickname: “Goose.” I got the nickname from my dad when I was around 10 (years old) when I first started playing softball. There was another girl on the team, whose name was Juliana, and they asked my dad if I had a nickname and he told them “Goose” and it just stuck.

Honors: All-Tournament at 18U AFCS, 18U All-Summer by Line Drive Softball and #2 in the 2027 Line Drive Hot 100.
