Why Do Rankings? Two Teammates Are Great Examples Why!

A week from Monday (May 20), Line Drive Softball kicks off our extensive rankings of the talent-filled Class of 2028 in our Line Drive HOT 100 series.

Last month, we presented for the first time a look at the 2029’s and two standout teammates for Impact gold National 2029 were honored and are getting the attention they – and all their deserving peers – should on social media.

Capri Mark, an outstanding middle infielder, was ranked No. 2 overall in the 2029 Line Drive HOT 100 while her teammate, third baseman Trinity Hargrett was ranked No. 14 overall and No. 1 at the corner infield position.

Here is just some of the attention these two standouts received:

Here’s the point: notice just a small sampling of the great recognition both Capri and Trinity got:

* Capri got over 100 comments on Facebook via a post from her father and on a Twitter post she put up herself, she has over 6,400 views.

* Trinity was honored on Facebook in a post from her mother and she’s received 354 likes and 172 comments of congratulations.

Isn’t that cool for both?

These rankings are to HONOR these athletes and it’s wonderful to see the kudos they receive from family, friends and the softball world.

Why?

Because they are talented and work as hard as any athlete in any sport and they SHOULD be recognized for all they put into it.

Congrats to them for being in the spotlight thanks to their impressive talent and how they work to develop it!
