Since starting our 2026-2027 edition of the Master Commit Spreadsheet on Sept. 1, we now have now 1,440 commits in the two months since then!

Of those, 600 are for the current junior class (2028’s) and 760 are seniors (2027’s).

These seniors included since Sept. 1 are in addition to the 2027’s who committed previously—the nearly 2,000 listed in LAST year’s Master Commit Spreadsheet?

Important NOTE about 2027’s: We are still getting a heavy number of 2027 commits coming in so if you’re one of those, feel free to send your info in to us to get added into our system.

NOTE: We publish the updated lists weekly–typically on Sundays & mid-week in the fall…

Today’s Commit Spotlight Is…

Ashlyn Pantages… a 2028 HOT 100 Top 40 Honoree Headed to the Pac-12

On Sept. 1, we rolled out the players recognized in the Top 40 of the 2028 HOT 100 and one of those was Ashlyn Pant

ages, an outstanding middle infielder who plays in the Firecrackers organization for her father, Jason, and former NFL wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh.

This week, the SoCal junior who a strong defensive infielder and is a threat with the bat, hitting for a high average with speed to move up station to station, announced she’s committed to the Colorado State Rams, who joined the Pac-12 this summer.

We predict Ashlyn will be a star in the conference because of her combination of a strong glove, quick feet and the ability to hit for a high average as well as with power.

Here’s what we wrote about Ashlyn in her bio:

T-36—Ashlyn Pantages, MIF, Firecrackers 16U – TJ/Pantages
Pantages has firmly established herself as one of the premier 2028 middle infielders in Southern California. A dynamic athlete for both Sonora High School and Firecrackers TJ/Pantages, the daughter of head coach Jason Pantages pairs strong defensive skills with an explosive, high-IQ offensive skill set. Defensively, Ashlyn displays great instincts, quick footwork, and a strong arm while making tough plays look routine across the middle infield. Ashlyn covers deep ground to both sides, plays with confidence under pressure, and brings exceptional field awareness and leadership to the dirt. At the plate, the 2028 grad together a strong sophomore campaign at Sonora High, leading the Freeway League across all three primary triple-slash statistical categories with a .480 batting average, a .541 on-base percentage, and a .840 slugging percentage. Beyond her .480 clip, she recorded 36 hits, scored 25 runs, drove in 18 RBIs, and collected 12 stolen bases over 24 games, proving to be a force at the top of the order. On the national travel circuit, she elevated her game even further on the biggest stage, helping lead Firecrackers TJ/Pantages to an impressive 7th place finish at PGF Nationals in the ultra-competitive 16U Premier division.
