Since starting our 2026-2027 edition of the Master Commit Spreadsheet on Sept. 1, we have 1,227 commits in the roughly six weeks since then.
Of those, 555 are for the current junior class (2028’s) and 601 are seniors (2027’s).
These seniors included since Sept. 1 are in addition to the 2027’s who committed previously—would you believe the nearly 2,000 listed in LAST year’s Master Commit Spreadsheet?
Important NOTE about 2027’s: We are still getting a heavy number of 2027 commits coming in so if you’re one of those, feel free to send your info in to us to get added into our system.

We keep waiting for the number of verbal commitments to slow down, but seven weeks into the new recruiting period, since Sept. 1, we’re continuing to see large numbers of players are finalizing their college choices… at all divisions.
Since Sunday, we’ve added another five dozen more happy campers who know where they’re headed!
Today’s update includes a set of twins going to the same college and a pair of sisters two years apart who will be playing together at the next level…

First, though, an extensive look at three teammates from the same club team who’ve committed recently…
This is how you know if a coach is one you want to play for; check out what Taiwan (“Coach T”) Ward with the PA Chaos 18U – Ward team did.
For our Master Commit Spreadsheet update a week ago (Oct. 14), Coach T send us an e-mail sharing the good news that a trio of his current senior players (2027’s) had committed:
Not only that, but Coach T also send us key stats, honors and accomplishments for each player—we call these summaries “Bios,” along with a “Scouting Report” and “Commit Quotes “from the new commits… you’ll see these extensive write-ups below.
Coach Ward noted:
“I’m really proud of what this group accomplished over the past year. We had a strong fall season, finishing 17-10-3, going 3-0-1 at the ACFL Championship in Richmond, Va., and recording 10 shutouts during the fall.”
“We carried that success into the spring and summer, finishing with a 29-14-1 summer record and earned a 3rd place finish at the 2026 USA Class A Nationals.”
“We ended our summer on a high note, winning our final six games while outscoring our opponents 48-11 and recording two shutouts. So far, we’ve started great this fall. We sit at 7-1-1 after an undefeated (5-0-1) weekend at the Team NJ Fall Showcase in Jackson, N.J.”
But it’s not just about the wins and losses, Coach T explains.
“Beyond the results, I’m really proud of the culture we’ve built with this group,” he adds. “We talk a lot about playing hard, giving everything you have, and understanding that defense wins championships.”
“We want to develop players who can compete at the highest level, but just as importantly, we want them to grow as teammates, leaders, and people. Seeing our players earn opportunities to continue their careers at the college level is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching, and having Avery, Chrystal, and Mia take that next step is something we’re really proud of.”

Bio:

Avery helped lead Owen J. Roberts High to its first Pennsylvania 6A State Final in the school’s history in 2026. Over the past three years with PA Chaos, she has maintained a consistent 2:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio while contributing both in the circle and at first base.
Last year, she recorded the highest fielding percentage on the team at .980, showcasing her defensive consistency and versatility. Avery’s ability to contribute in multiple roles, combined with her composure and leadership, has made her a valuable part of our program.
Scouting Report by Coach T
“Over the last three years with our team, Avery has been a consistent and trusted leader, both on the field and in the dugout,” Coach T says.
“She is exactly who you want in the circle during high-pressure situations. Avery maintains her composure, rarely gets rattled, and can be counted on to get the clutch outs when runners are in scoring position.”
“During her final 26 innings pitched last fall, she held opposing hitters to a .000 batting average with runners in scoring position. She was a key reason we recorded 10 shutouts in 30 games that fall.”
“Avery’s reliability, competitive mindset, and ability to perform under pressure are qualities that will serve her well at the next level.”
Avery’s Quote on Choosing Rowan
“Rowan was really the perfect fit for me,” Avery says. “I want the opportunity to compete for a national championship at the college level, and I have so much respect for what Coach (Kim) Wilson and her staff have accomplished throughout their careers.”
“I’m excited for the opportunity to play for them and be part of a successful program.”
“Rowan also checked all the boxes for me when it came to the size of the school, location, and success of the softball program.”

Bio:
Chrystal had an outstanding spring high school season, recording both her 200th and 300th career strikeouts. She earned First Team All-Cape Atlantic League honors each high school season and batted .340 this past spring while recording 69 strikeouts in 72 innings pitched while playing club softball. Her consistency and performance in the circle have made her an important contributor to her high school team and a valuable part of our PA Chaos program.
Scouting Report by Coach T
“Chrystal is a workhorse who gives everything she has, every single time she steps on the field. Her commitment, dedication, and willingness to put in the work are what separate her. She competes, embraces the challenges that come with being a pitcher, and consistently gives her team everything she has. Her work ethic and determination played a big role in helping our team finish the season 22 games over .500. I believe those same qualities will allow her to continue developing and competing at the next level.”
Chrystal’s Quote on Choosing Northeast Alabama Community College
“I chose Northeast Alabama because the coaches made me feel so welcome. They see the potential in me and want to help bring it out just as much as I do. I truly believe this will be a great opportunity for me to develop as a player and kick off my college softball career. I’m very excited to see what the future holds!”

Bio:
Mia earned Second Team All-Catholic honors this past spring and received her high school team’s “Clutch” Award, recognizing her ability to step up when it matters most. A gifted athlete, Mia will continue her athletic career at Eastern University, where she plans to compete in both softball and field hockey. Her athletic versatility, competitive drive, and ability to perform under pressure make her an exciting addition to Eastern’s athletic programs.
Scouting Report by Coach T
“Mia is a gifted athlete with a competitive drive and the ability to rise to the occasion when her team needs her most. Winning her high school team’s ‘Clutch’ Award says a lot about the kind of player she is. She brings athleticism, determination, and a team-first mentality, and I believe those qualities will serve her well at the next level. The fact that she will compete in both softball and field hockey speaks to her versatility, athletic ability, and love of competition.”
Mia’s Quote on Choosing Eastern University
“I chose Eastern University because I love Coach Terri and have seen how many PA Chaos players have gone through her program and been successful.”
“I also love how welcoming and family-oriented she is; she made it very easy for me to know where home is, and I’m excited to continue my softball career at Eastern.”

I’m beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and softball career playing Division II softball at the University of Sioux Falls! I want to thank @CoachDowns42 and the entire USF coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to be apart of the Cougar family. Thank you to my family for always being my biggest supporters and helping me chase my dreams, especially my sister, who has made this journey even more special. I’m also so thankful for all my coaches, hitting coaches, and teammates who have pushed me, supported me, and helped me grow along the way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of you. I’m so blessed for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what these next chapters bring! Go Coo!!💜💜 #coofalls #mojr @USFCougarsSB
