Earlier this week we announced that Cassie Crabtree of Melissa (Texas) High was the 2025 Line Drive National High School Coach of the Year after leading her talented Cardinals team to a 38-1 record and second straight Texas state championship.

Line Drive’s Brentt Eads had the opportunity to visit Melissa High and interview Coach Crabtree and her daughter, Caigan, a senior All-American who will play in the upcoming PGF All-American game that will be played July 26, 2025 in Irvine, Calif.
