During this week’s 2024 NFCA Convention, there were more than 160 companies that were onsite in the Exhibitor Hall at the Dallas Hyatt.

One of the biggest was the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) booth that featured more than a half dozen company officials and club coaches including Bill Conroy, the head of the Beverly Bandits organization out of the Midwest.

Top club coaches man the PGF booth at the NFCA Convention this week (l-r): Corey Mathis, Ramsey Harkness, Bill Conroy, Jason Gusaeff and Bill Sparrey.

We had a chance to interview Bill on Thursday–just as the exhibitor section was opening to attendees–about this year’s convention and also what events he’ll be involved with in 2025 including the 2025 PGF Qualifiers which start the first week of January—less than a month away from now.

Here’s that list of all the Qualifiers:

… and here’s the complete interview with Coach Conroy about:

  • the PGF Qualifiers,
  • his role at PGF as the company’s Vice President of Marketing,
  • his responsibilities as head of the Beverly Bandits club org,
  • his outstanding event, Empowering Girls for Life, which takes place in August 2025 in the Chicago area,
  • his coaching the 18U premier Beverly Bandits team, and, finally,
  • Bill’s thoughts on the changes impacting softball today.
