After a 2023 summer that saw the Strykers 18U team going undefeated at Top Gun and taking 2nd at the Colorado Sparkler Nationals, Head Coach Charlie Esparza has his team looking very strong once again.
At Colorado Sparklers this week, the Strykers are once again rolling, having beaten two powerful teams over the last two days with wins oveer Athletics – Mercado (which won last week’s Patriot Games) and the Texas Glory.
This after winning the TFL Championships and defeating other elite national teams such as the Impact Gold and Texas Bombers.
And already in just two games, five players have hit dingers: Bailey Lindemuth (Texas Tech), Charleigh Esparza (Baylor), Estrella Rowe (New Mexico), Abby Garza (Texas State) and Bella Ramon (Southern Miss).
Here’s the one from Lindemuth:

“We’ve hit well all summer,” Coach Esparza begins, “This team just plays for one another and great teammates find a way to help. We like to say, ‘It’s the last dance, leave your mark!’”
Everyone is in on the fun with Lindemuth and McNeese bound Kadence Williams having strong summer campaigns especially.
“Our uncommitted 2025’s are really stepping up too,” Esparza adds, pointing out as an example the outstanding play of outfielder Chloe Aldrich.
College coaches are impressed with the progress of the six-year-old program as well as how the Strykers staff is producing Power 5 pick-ups like outfielders Emma King (Wisconsin) and Kiley Huffman (Texas Tech).
Lind Drive Softball interviewed Coach Esparza last week at Patriot Games about his thoughts on that event, how he promotes his players at an elite event and what other club teams he likes moving forward for the summer…
