Softball Spotlight: Grayson Radcliffe... Pro Player with the VIBE, Assistant Coach at NC State--What Can't She Do? Part 1/2 (November 24, 2025)

Grayson Radcliffe somehow finds 28-29 hours per day because she needs to.

  • in her fifth year as an infielder for the professional team the Florida VIBE based in Bradenton, Fla.,
  • an Assistant Coach at North Carolina State after joining the Wolfpack staff in the Summer of ’23,
  • the Wolfpack’s Softball Camp Director.

Not to mention her time speng on the recruiting trail, including the recent talent-rich Clearwater Fall Classic which is where Line Drive Softball caught up with Grayson for a between-games interview.

More on this accomplished (and tireless) softball figure:

  • From Rockville, Va., Grayson had an accomplished career at Indiana University where she twice was an All-Big Ten honoree as an infielder and a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recipient.
  • As a Hoosier player, she led her team three times in home runs (2019-2021) and twice in RBIs (2019, 2021).

In the first of our two-part video interview, Grayson talks about the growth of professional softball, balancing softball and academics and how she balances her careers of being a coach and player…
