A few weeks ago, Line Drive Media’s Carlos Arias did a week-long look at top club coaches in the country and the response was tremendous.

I had players, parents and club coaches all reaching out to us—and to me, surprisingly, as I didn’t have anything directly to do with the series— but one thing quickly became apparent:

… these club coaches, for the most part, are really, really appreciated for how they impact so many lives!

The idea came to let YOU in the softball world share your thoughts and appreciation for these great men and women who spend so much time making a difference in their players’ lives.

So here’s what we’re going to do:

• Players, parents and others associated somehow with the club coaches… share your thoughts via email on what your favorite club coach does, has done and how he/she has helped make a difference… simply, share with us why the coach means so much to you!

• Indicate if it’s OK to use your quotes and use your name with your submission (give your permission to do so).

• E-mail the following:  

• • Your name
  • Who you are (player, parent, club coach or someone else)
  • Club team (also, where it’s based & the age division)
  • Where you live (city and state)
  • Club coach’s name
  • In your own words, tell us what this coach means to you!
  • Optional but recommended: send a photo!

• Club coaches: we’d like to ask you to do something similar… share with us what OTHER travel ball coaches impress you or have made an impact in your life.

• IMPORTANT! Deadline for email submissions is Friday, April 24 and the multi-day series will start Monday, April 27.

There may not be a national “Club Coach Appreciation Day,” but we’re going to honor these impactful folks and use our platform to recognize them.
