Brynna Bickham flashes a smile that represented her experience--and many others--at the USA Softball HPP Selection Event that took place this weekend.

Social Media Spotlight: The USA Softball HPP Select Event... A Huge Hit With Attendees (December 8, 2025)

This weekend saw more than 400 standout softball players from across the nation (44 states!) travel to Vero Beach, Fla. to participate in the USA Softball HPP Select Event which Line Drive previewed on Friday.

The exciting aspect for the attendees was to battle for a spot on a Junior Women’s National Team roster but there were other major benefits including facing the best competition as well as work with–and learn from–some of the best players and coaches in the game.

How was the event perceived by the attendees?

We’ll let them tell you themselves via their X/Twitter posts… but the general consensus was exemplified by our cover player, 2030 outfielder Brynna Bickham, who described the High Performance Program (HPP) Selection Event as:

“Absolutely one of the best softball experiences I’ve ever had.”
