The Northwest Bullets 18U – Campo team has one of the best pitching/catching batteries in the nation… and one of the youngest! (L-R): Ali Evans, Tenley Jukkala and Sierra Murray.

Rising Stars Video Interview: NW Bullets 18U-Campos Battery Features Two Outstanding 2028 Pitchers and a Superb 2029 Catcher (November 25, 2025)

They came. They pitched. They conquered.

At the PGF Ultimate Challenge held the opening weekend of November, one of the most impressive displays of talent was the pitching battery of the Northwest Bullets 18U team lead by Head Coach Tony Campos.

Ali Evans, #34 in the 2028 Line Drive Hot 100, pitching for Richland (Wash.) High.

Combining the dominating righty pitching of Sierra Murray with the lefty prowess of Ali Evans—and both caught by dependable backstop Tenley Jukkala—the trio was dominating.

But here’s where it gets really interesting: the two pitchers are sophomores (2028 grads) and the catcher is a freshman (Class of 2029).

That’s right… on an accomplished team with 2026’s headed to universities like Oregon, Washington and Liberty, these underclass “youngsters” have made it known that they are ones to watch over the next few years.

Here’s more on each of the three:

Ali Evans (LHP, 2028)

  • Ranked in the Top 100 of the 2028 HOT 100
  • Attends Richland (Wash.) High
  • NW Bullets Team Manager Dennis Muir says of her: “Ali’s spin rate coupled with speed is not easily dealt with as a hitter. Throw in her change up that can be thrown in any count and she becomes elite.”

Sierra Murray (RHP, 2028)

  • Ranked in the Top 100 of the 2028 HOT 100
  • Attends Rogers (Puyallup, Wash.) High
  • Coach Muir comments: “Sierras has an internal competitive spirit and will to improve at a level that is rarely seen in young athletes. She is a great mix of power, spin and the ability to interrupt hitters timing with her change up.”

Tenley Jukkala (C, 2029)

  • Lefty hitter & right-handed thrower
  • Attends Mountainside (Beaverton, Ore.) High
  • This year helped her 16U Bullets team take 1st at Boulder IDT & PGF June Premier
  • Coach Muir says: “Tenley is a special mix of athleticism, power with the ability to change the both offensively and defensively.”

Line Drive’s Brentt Eads had a chance to interview them at the tourney earlier this month… here’s what they had to say:
