Since last Wednesday (Jan. 28), when we last published our Line Drive Master Commit Spreadsheet, another 87 in the 2027 and 2026 classes have been added to give us over 1,450 commits since we started tracking on Sept. 1!
And since Sept. 1, the Classes of 2026 and 2027 have seen players from all over the country–even Canada–commit.
We love hearing YOUR commitment stories, so send them in and they might get published like the one we received this week:

Here are two recent commits and how it went for these talented players:

Leianna Wagner, a 2026 MIF with So Cal Athletics – James, committed to Northwest Florida State College in mid-January.
NFS is the reigning NJCAA Division 1 national champs as the Raiders topped Florida SouthWestern State College last May to capture the school’s first softball National Championship.
Here’s what Leianna had to say about why she chose the school based in Niceville, Florida:
“I chose NWF because the culture there is amazing and I love how Coach (Andy) Lee runs there program.”
“I want a coach to push me to my fullest potential, and I feel like Coach Lee is going to do that. Also, the team always looks so bonded and happy, so I really just wanted that going into college, a positive, like minded, hardworking team.”

Breely Peirpoint, 2026 MIF/OF with Carolina Elite – Fusetti, committed this week to Tennessee Tech.

Here’s her recap of her recruiting process with the Golden Eagles…
“After joining Carolina Elite National with Coach Dana and Ejan Fusetti, they spoke highly of Coach (Danielle) Penner and her staff from Tennessee Tech.”
“One of my teammates was already committed there and I was hearing everything that she loved about the program.”
“As soon as I told Coach Dana and Ejan about my interest in Tech they got to work. The staff for Tech came to watch our team play a couple of times and that is where they saw me.”
“I went to a camp where Coach Penner could really see my swing, and she told me that it’s what made her realize that I could be a good fit for the program.”
“When I went on my visit, I knew immediately that this was the place for me. I could tell just by talking to some of the current players that they really love this team.”
“The next day I committed!”
“There was no doubt in my mind that this was it. I could tell that there was a family environment with very respectable coaches that drew me in. That is why I chose Tennessee Tech as my next home.”
Coach Dana shares more about how good she and Coach Ejan feel that Tennessee Tech got a really good one…
“First, Ejan and I are incredibly thankful to the Nelson family (2026 Landri Nelson/UNCG commit) for bringing Breely to our team.”
“From the moment she stepped on the field, she was a perfect fit. Her family is phenomenal and went above and beyond, even organizing group meals during tournaments which everyone loved.”
“We immediately saw Breely’s talent and were honestly shocked she wasn’t already committed. She has an amazing swing with exit velocity consistently ranging from 79–81 mph, is extremely versatile, and possesses an incredibly strong arm.”
“Breely is going to be a great asset to Tennessee Tech, and I can’t wait to watch all the incredible things she will accomplish during her college softball career.”
