Outstanding pitcher Ava Lorenzatti, long considered one of the top pitchers in the Class of 2026, announced via social media on Monday night that she’s going to play for the Florida State Seminoles, a program she has favored for half her life—literally.
On her X post, she just simply posted “You Nole It” and showed her in the Seminole colors on her official visit, but also a cute photo of her from a printed program showing that—even at the tender age of eight years old—the longtime pitcher was a Nole Fan.
Here’s the Twitter post:

Within a half hour of being posted (and note, mysteriously, Line Drive Softball was alerted an hour before that this was coming down…), the post already had over 5,200 views!
By way of background, Ava is a tremendously talented power pitcher who plays for the Bandits 18U – Stone team and is described by organization head Bill Conroy as: “a high end pitcher who has all the tools to be elite at the next level.”
Look for her to be announced on Friday as (very, very probably) one of the Line Drive Softball Top 10-ranked players in the class.
Chad Moran, previously her head coach for a Bandits 16U team, praises the young athlete for her savvy, intelligence in the circle and a “tremendous riseball that’s a difference maker.”
Ava had programs from the SEC, Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences following her, but, as shown by these photos below of the athlete taken several years ago and submitted courtesy of Coach Moran, it seems there has always been one team and one logo she loved wearing (and cheering for) the most!
