In the past, pro softball has almost exclusively been played during the summers with little action going on in the Spring, Fall or Winter seasons.
That’s about to change later this year.
Established in August of 2021, the Florida Vibe organization—based out of Bradenton, Fla.—announced the launch of a Fall extension to its playing schedule with details to be announced shortly.
The Vibe will join other professional organizations in playing up through Thanksgiving ’25 with games, dates and locations for August, September, October and November to follow soon.
“As a professional organization,” Ryan Moore, the owner and team president of the Vibe begins, “this is a huge opportunity for these professional athletes as we extend the professional season for economic impacts to benefit the athletes and organizations.”
“With the sport of Fastpitch growing rapidly and where more professional teams are set to announce soon, extending into the fall season will advance the game even more” Moore said.
