The talent at the 2024 Clearwater Fall Classic – which wrapped up on Sunday with more action in the 18U and 16U age divisions along with the championship bracket play in the 14U’s – was outstanding.
One of the standouts of the weekend was Victoria “Vic” Moten, the 2025 pitcher committed to Alabama who played for the Birmingham Thunderbolts 18U – Rocky team and looked outstanding all weekend.

In a game versus the Firecrackers 18U – Rico/Brashear on Sunday, Vic threw 3.1 innings and had seven strikeouts and no runs given up in a 5-0 shutout.
On Saturday, she played against Batbusters 18U – Stith/Maroon and pitched four innings with eight K’s, no walks with three hits and no runs allowed while hitting a home run and driving in three RBIs.
Line Drive Softball’s Brentt Eads caught up with Vic on Saturday right after her game against the Batbusters to learn more about this soft-spoken senior who lets her actions on the field do the talking for her… which included making a “shocking” defensive play in the circle and hitting a three-run homer!
