After a rousing conclusion to Week 1 of the 2024 PGF Nationals on Saturday featuring four entertaining games in the 16U and 18U championships plus the Seniors & Futures High School All-American Games, you could only wish that Week 2 would be half as entertaining.

So far, so good!

Week 2 in the beautiful and sunny environs of Orange County, Southern California features the younger age brackets: 14U, 12U and 10U.

Sunday evening, there was a coaches’ dinner and draw to place teams in bracket play which starts today.

Monday featured the always fantastic Opening Ceremonies which were highlighted by Montana Fouts, the four-time All-American pitcher at Alabama, addressing the crowd and, most directly, the younger softballers in attendance.

Pool play kicked off Monday and wrapped up Tuesday and, now, it time to get serious!
