Following the 2025 season, U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) infielder, Jessi Warren, has announced her retirement from USA Softball and the international game.

“The last 2 1/2 years with USA Softball have been nothing short of amazing, and representing my country has been a dream come true,” said Warren via Instagram.

“Wearing that jersey was an honor I never took lightly and every moment meant something,” she added.

Warren began her international career with the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2024, helping lead the Eagles to a silver medal finish at the WBSC World Cup Finals.

In her first tournament with the Red, White and Blue, she led the U.S. offense with a .444 batting average and six RBI — earning the Most Runs Batted In award and a spot on the All-World Team.

Following the 2024 season, Warren was named a semi-finalist for the AAU James E. Sullivan Award, which recognizes outstanding U.S. athletes for excellence in competition as well as leadership, character and sportsmanship.

In her second season with the Eagles, Warren was part of the undefeated gold medal squad at The World Games 2025, where she hit .273 with one home run, two RBI and one run scored.

Respected across the game as one of the best at third base, Warren appeared in 11 games during her two-year tenure with Team USA. In 32 plate appearances, the former Florida State standout posted a .379 batting average, making a significant impact for the Red, White and Blue throughout her international career.

“I’m proud of what this chapter gave me, proud of the women I stood besides, and grateful for the trust placed in me,” Warren said.

“Although I won’t be representing this amazing country in 2028, those dreams aren’t gone, just reimagined and I’m happy to have been a part of the journey for the program in getting there.”

“I can’t wait to be on the other side, cheering on my friends from the stands, with the same pride and love I’ve always carried.”

Warren’s impact extends beyond Team USA as she recently completed the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) season with the Volts and has been part of Athletes Unlimited since 2020.

She previously competed professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league with the USSSA Pride. Warren is set to continue her AUSL career with the OKC Spark for the upcoming 2026 season.

On Saturday, Jessi posted a note of appreciation for her time with USA Softball on Instagram:
