Each week of the Spring season, Line Drive Softball has honored top high school performances nationwide with a National Player of the Week and others who are named as a Runner-Up Player of the Week.
As almost all of the states have finished high school ball for now, this will be our last time this spring to do the National High School Player of the Week… but next week we will start our National Club Player of the Week series.
If you’d like to have a player considered moving forward for travel ball success, go to our Nomination Page to submit or email info and photos (1-3 as available) by the cutoff of Mondays at 6 pm EST/3 pm PST to: Brentt.Eads@LineDriveMedia.com.
Games are for Sunday, June 8, 2025, through Saturday, June 15, 2025…

*** Audrey Seiler is already known as one of the top pitchers in the high school-age ranks. Ranked No. 3 in the 2028 Line Drive Hot 100 published last month, the 2028 grad from Tecumseh High in Lynnville, Ind., wrapped up her freshman season in grand style.
In the postseason for the Braves, she pitched 40 innings and didn’t allow a run while giving up just eight hits overall. Additionally, Audrey struck out 72 including 13 in the seven-inning Indiana 2A state title game in which she tossed a one-hit shutout.
It was a complete domination effort from start to finish this season as the Hoosier State standout tossed 128 innings with a 0.76 ERA and had 240 strikeouts for the season—an average of 1.86 per inning.
Opposing batters hit only .128 against her and, all year long, Audrey gave up just 18 walks.
Tecumseh High went 31-2 to set a school record for most wins in a season. More importantly, the Indiana title was the third in the last four years for the Braves and in the other year the team finished second in state.
The team’s only two losses were to Top 5 teams in Kentucky but the Braves did knock off that state’s No. 1 team as well several ranked Indiana teams.
Earlier this year, a club coach told Line Drive Softball:
“As a competitor she (Audrey) freaking brings it, simple as that. Audrey has a very quiet demeanor but a huge presence in the circle. There are no candy-coated numbers in her resume. She only plays in the top events and gets the very best teams.”
“I have said this and will continue to: ‘Are there kids who throw harder?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Are there kids with better pitches?’ “Possibly.” ‘Is there a kid with a better resume against top teams?’ ‘Find someone and show me.’”

*** Hannah Tober, a senior shortstop with Kent (New Kent, Va.) High sent a perfect 7-for-7 to help her team win three games in the State Regional Tournament. Of her seven hits, three were home runs—one a grand slam—and three were doubles with the other being a triple.
Her dangerous bat also led opposing pitchers to intentionally walk her three times.
For the season, Hannah has batted .639 with a 2.003 OPS and a slugging mark of 1.306. Of her 45 hits this season, the 2025 grad had 10 home runs, two triples and 14 doubles.
She also drove in 44 runs and scored 46 for herself.
The Virginia Cavalier signee also set the Virginia State prep mark for career doubles as she has 56 and counting—the old record was 47—and she’s also been a star in the classroom, finishing as Salutatorian of her senior class with a 4.6 GPA.
*** Eden Wilson, a 2028 pitcher/second baseman for Liberty Union High in Baltimore, Ohio, helped her team finish as Div. 5 state runners-up and had a strong run in the playoffs including coming into the state title game in relief in the first inning down five with two runners on base and just one out.
The freshman shut down the opposing team, giving up just one run in four innings and also shined in the semi’s where she struck out the last two batters to end the game.
Eden came up big all during the playoffs offensively as well including a grand slam in the Regional Semi-Finals and in the Regional Finals where she hit in two of her teams’ four runs.
When not pitching, Eden played at second base and was flawless, recording four put-outs and five assists.
The athlete’s awards this year including being named 1st Team All-Conference and All-District as well as All-State honorable mention.
*** Abigail Corris, a junior pitcher for Foran (Conn.) High, came up huge when her team needed her to as she struck out 32 Woodland Regional batters in 13 innings of what ended up being a three hour, 17-minute 1-0 victory.
The 2026 grad helped her team beat Woodland Regional, which had won the last three state titles, in the Connecticut Class M final.
Amazingly, in what turned out to be a nail-bitter with opposing hurler Ella Van Alstyne, Abigail threw 188 pitches and gave up only three hits and two walks.
Foran ran its record to 28-0 after the standout from the Northeast got strong in the extra innings, striking out 14 of the 18 batters she faced in innings eight through 13.
Abigail finished the season with 356 strikeouts in 180.1 innings averaging a hair under two K’s per inning. She also had a stellar 0.62 ERA.
For her career, the pitcher has 693 strikeouts of the 1,583 hitters she’s faced in 421 innings.
