Line Drive Softball Class of 2029 Position Rankings (April 10, 2025)

We continue our Line Drive Softball look at the Class of 2029 and break down these outstanding players by POSITION.

Over the last month, we’ve honored these softball standouts in the 2029 Line Drive HOT 100 as well as the players “on the bubble.”

Tomorrow (Friday), we’ll continue our look at this class as we publish player rankings by REGION and then wrap-up this class for now by profiling the No. 1 ranked overall player, L.G. Goldin.

Today, we honor these elite players by their positions and – as many players can take the field at multiple spots – we placed them at the positions we feel they are mostly likely to play or were recommended to us by club and/or college coaches.

  • P (pitcher… the main focus is pitching but may play another position)
  • C (catcher… primary position)
  • IF (infield… can play the corners or middle infield)
  • OF (outfield… can play left field, center field and/or right field)
