Line Drive Softball recently wrapped up the 2028 Line Drive HOT 100 and one player everyone has to be impressed with is Haden Keilers, a tremendous three-sport athlete who suffered a terrible knee injury a year ago but came back better than ever as a Top 25 prospect in her freshman class.
Here’s the bio that was published on Haden detailing her huge numbers as a varsity standout for her Lone Star State high school…
T-23—Haden Keilers, IF/UT, Lady Dukes 2028 Premier
Haden is a true all-around player who hits for both power and average. She led her varsity squad at Dublin (Texas) High as a freshman with a .540 batting average, 22 RBIs, three home runs, 15 doubles, a .593 on-base percentage, a 1.436 OPS and a slugging percentage of .860 to be named to the District 8-3A All-District 1st Team. Haden also prides herself on defense and can play any position on the field. She also was a standout in both volleyball and basketball starting both sports on the Varsity level as a freshman.

ON THE FIELD:
In your eyes, what are some of the top honors and accomplishments you’ve achieved individually and with your teams?
Individually, I would say warning 1st Team All District, being named MVP at the USSSA All Star games for Texas. Teamwise, it’d be winning multiple tournaments including placing 11th out of over 100 teams at the Road to the Show Tournament in Oklahoma City
What’s been your most memorable softball experience?
Being down the whole game and coming back and being able to get the walk-off hit for our team to make the championship game!
What would you say are your strengths on the field?
Knowing the situation on every pitch and communicating it to my teammates.
Have you set personal goals for yourself this year?
My personal goals for this year are to build more strength and be the best teammate I can be.
Do you have any softball superstitions?
One… to not to step on the baseline going on the field or coming off.
What would you say is your philosophy in life?
Treat others as you want to be treated.
If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be on-field? Off the field? On the field: competitor. Off the field: determined.
What’s been your favorite place you’ve played softball?
My favorite place to have played is Davis Diamond in College Station at Texas A&M.
What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome in life?
The biggest obstacle I have had to overcome is tearing my ACL and my meniscus in the middle of my 8th grade year.
What drives you to play softball?
The different ways you are challenged in the game of softball drive me to it, because I’m always working to get better in every part of the game.
Finally, what’s one thing or accomplishment about you that is unusual or unique which few know (until now)?
I was born in the Philippines.

What’s your favorite softball item, like a preferred bat, glove, etc.?
My favorite softball item is my Wilson A2000 glove.

Probably water to drink. I’m gonna get thirsty!
If you could have dinner with anyone… living or dead… who would it be?
Kobe Bryant so I could pick his mind about competing.

Tennessee, because the baby blues are TUFF!!!
What worries you most about what classmates your age face in the future?
There seems to be so much hate in the world.
If you won a million dollars and had to spend it all in 24 hours, how would you spend it?
I would spend it all on buying a house, truck, clothes, and shoes!
Calories aside, what food could you eat and never get sick of?
Pizza Rolls.
Best talent off the field?
Singing.
What have you learned most about yourself over the last year or two?
I have learned that I can overcome any set back by just putting in the work and staying focused on my goals.
Who inspires you (athletically & non-athletically): My dad inspires me both athletically and non-athletically.
When you leave the game of softball, how do you want to be remembered and what will you do when you’re finished playing to help grow the game?
I want to be remembered as a player that had great energy and was a great teammate. Also, as someone who always competed and left it all on the field. When my playing days are over, I would like to teach younger girls what I have learned throughout my playing time.
