Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are upon us and so too is something that student-athletes and their families across the globe are looking to enjoy:

… time off from school and work!

My son, who is a high school junior, is now in the Christmas Break and he gets two weeks off for the holiday break. My oldest son, a college freshman, is already done and is us for the holidays.

My family will in California for the break, and I personally am excited to meet many in my wife’s family I haven’t met before… I hope I still feel that way post-trip!

So, we’re asking you: softball players, families, coaches, and everyone in the sport…

… what will YOU be doing over the next several weeks once school is done?

• Any fun trips planned?
  • Warm weather? Cold weather? Close to home? Far away?
• Any special get-togethers lined up?
  • Team parties? Family reunions? Fun with friends? Church activities?
• Special places you’ll go?
  • Parades? Sight-seeing? Historical sites?
• Softball-specific: important workouts, camps or other activities or events to improve your game?
• Sleeping for 3 days straight?
