The first-ever 2030 Line Drive Hot 100 is now underway as the nominations for the class are being accepted thru Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025.

Each weekday for a two-week period, we will honor deserving prospects via our countdown of 10 spots each day following this schedule:

• #’s 100-91 (Mon., Jan. 27, 2025)
• #’s 90-81 (Tue., Jan. 28, 2025)
• #’s 80-71 (Wed., Jan. 29, 2025)
• #’s 70-61 (Thu., Jan. 30, 2025)
• #’s 60-51 (Fri. Jan. 31, 2025)
• #’s 50-41 (Mon., Feb. 3, 2025)
• #’s 40-31 (Tue., Feb. 4, 2025)
• #’s 30-21 (Wed., Feb. 5, 2025)
• #’s 20-11 (Thu., Feb. 6, 2025)
• #’s 10-1 (Fri. Feb. 7, 2025)

Following the Class of 2030’s rankings, the Classes of 2029, ’28, ‘27 and ’26 will follow (note: the schedules for each class will be announced soon).

The Line Drive Hot 100 is spearheaded by Line Drive Softball Executive Editor Brentt Eads, who began the softball player and team rankings format almost 20 years ago and in that time has done over 40 grad class rankings.

Each class is updated several times leading up to the players’ high school graduation and transition into college.
