This week and next, Line Drive is recognizing standout high school players across the nation for the 2024-25 school year in our annual High School All-American lists.

These include athletes in states who play in the fall like Georgia, Colorado, Missouri and Oklahoma and those that compete in the spring into the summer.

Below is the schedule that includes our recognition of 1^st & 2^nd Team All-Americans as well as the High School Player & High School Coach of the Year.

LINE DRIVE SOFTBALL 2025 HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICAN TIMELINE

• Monday, July 7 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Pitchers)
• Tuesday, July 8 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Catchers)
• Wednesday, July 9 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Infielders)
• Thursday, July 10 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Outfielders)
• Friday, July 11 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Multi-Purpose)
• Monday, July 14 – Line Drive Softball 2nd Team All-Americans
• Tuesday, July 15 – Line Drive Softball High School Player of the Year
• Wednesday, July 16 – Line Drive Softball High School Coach of the Year

Those chosen have been selected based on criteria such as:

• accomplishments, stats and honors

• importance to the success of the team

• on-field abilities, skills and talent
• off-the-field resume, i.e., academic success, community involvement, etc.

Our list is deep and extensive as we feel it necessary to honor all those who deserve to be recognized as a Line Drive Softball High School All-American

1^st TEAM LINE DRIVE SOFTBALL HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICANS—OUTFIELDERS

Ciara Babcock (So, Temescal Canyon, Lake Elsinore Calif.)
Ciara is a talented left-handed slapper who batted .500 this year in 44 games and 122 plate appearances while getting 57 hits scoring 55 runs. Her on-base percentage was .525, her OPS 1.116 and she stole 16 bases while only striking out four times all season. She also did some pitching and went 7-1 with 30 K’s and a1.67 ERA in 52 innings pitched. She was blogged for Line Drive including one from Feb. 2025 titled “Softball Has Shaped Me In Ways I Never Imagined.”

Zoie Bernard (Sr., St. Benedict at Auburndale, Cordova Tenn.)
Zoie, a Michigan State commit who was ranked No. 26 in the Line Drive 2025 HOT 100, is a standout on the field and in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. A combo of speed and a dangerous bat, she batted an explosive .683 this year with a .721 on-base percentage and of her 86 hits 11 were home runs, 12 doubles and 18 triples. She also stole 31 bases in and was flawless in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage
