East Coweta High won the Georgia 6A state championship.

High School Championships: Here Are the 2024-2025 Georgia High School Association Champs (Nov. 8, 2024)

Five states in the U.S. player their high school softball in the fall: Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Georgia.

The Peach State playoffs took place last weekend (Oct. 30 – No. 2, 2024) and, per the Georgia High School Association (GHSA), which hosted the prep championships at South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Ga.:

“It was four days of beautiful weather, thrilling games and spirited crowds.”

It was familiar ground for two teams, Heritage Catoosa (3A) and Wesleyan (Private School), which have won back-to-back championships (for Wesleyan, it was a third straight title in a row!).
