Future Star: Our Spotlight Q&A With 10U All-Summer MVP Priscilla Walker (August 30, 2025)

One of the best parts of my job is getting to discover promising young players and then watch them grow, progress and become the accomplished athletes—and people—over time.

Priscilla Walker

Today, we look at a standout sixth grader from Virginia, Priscilla Walker, who is a standout catcher who caught our eye this summer at PGF Nationals where she helped lead her Mojo 2014 – Edwards team to the 10U Premier Nationals title with a 10-0 record.

Line Drive selected Priscilla as our 10U All-Summer Team MVP after she batted .403 with 48 hits and 42 RBIs in 54 games and, amazingly, only allowed four passed balls all season.

Check out a few clips in this Twitter/X pose where you can see how athletic and talented Priscilla is already:

Here’s are some other things to like about this promising young student-athlete:

  • Priscilla is an A and B student,
  • She’s received Citizen of the Month every academic year,
  • Her artwork has been displayed in the New Kent County (Va.) Public Schools Art Show,
  • In her spare time, she likes to play rec volleyball, run track and work out with her father.

We recently caught up with Priscilla to see what is important to her on and off the softball field…. here’s what she had to say.
