Today kicks off the first of what promises to be three outstanding days of fastpitch softball in the Clearwater, Fla. area at the 2024 Clearwater Fall Classic.

The talent level is through the roof here and, not surprisingly, there are hundreds of top college coaches on hand to look at their (hopeful) future team members!

My wife Shannon and I got here late last night after having a flight delay, but it’s a beautiful 72 degrees this morning with a high expected to be 77 and it’s clear and sunny—great conditions for a weekend full of softball at the 18U, 16U and 14U age divisions.

We’ll have reports throughout the day and weekend so keep checking in… and if you’re here, look for Brentt in a yellow Line Drive Softball shirt and Shannon in a pink one. Please feel free to come up and say “hi!”
