Event Spotlight: Honoring the Champion Finalists at Top Gun Invitational Via Their Social Media Posts (June 17, 2025)

On Sunday, after the Top Gun Invitational wrapped up in the Kansas City area, we posted reports of the championship games as well as all the scores from the outstanding club tournament.

For me—Brentt Eads—it’s the 10th year I’ve gone to the tournament after it started in 2013 and this year’s was once again loaded with talent, both on a team level as well as top prospects the college coaches came to see.

The great thing about the Top Gun Invitational is the two main complexes are very close to each other allowing a lot of games to be seen easily and the event is very, very well run.

Robb Behymer

I asked Robby Behymer, a co-founder and owner of Top Gun (along with fellow co-founder and owner Jeremy McDowell) what he thought was the reason the Invitational continues to impress as one of the top tourneys of the summer.

“This event is successful,” Behymer told me yesterday, “because of our staff and their desire to give the teams and their parents a high-quality experience. We think we have some of the most talented and caring staff members in the nation and they deserve the credit for the success of the Top Gun Invitational.”

Speaking of “success,” here are the title winners for the 2025 Top Gun Invitation and how THEY shared the exciting news of their championship wins via social media…
