Event Recap: Hotshots-Seneca Knocks Off Batbusters-K. Stith in 14U Final at 2025 Summer Games at OKC (June 26, 2025)

14U: HOTSHOTS NATIONAL-SENECA 8, OC BATBUSTERS-K. STITH 1

2028 3B/UT Gabriella Cortez went 2 for 4 with a triple and four RBIs to help Hotshots National-Seneca knock off OC Batbusters-K. Stith in the 14U championship game on Sunday at Mustang Complex.

2028 RHP/UT Harlie Wright gave up four hits and one run with four strikeouts in 7.0 innings to record the win for the Hotshots.

Hotshots-Seneca went 8-0 with two victories over Batbusters-Stith, which recently won the Triple Crown Brashear Summer Invitational, at the Summer Games.

“Our pitching was outstanding,” Hotshots coach Terry Seneca said. “All of our pitchers all led the way in the circle for us. But our hitting was truly exceptional. It’s hard to single out any as they all contributed to (the) offensive performance that was second to none.
Multiple players had double-digit hits and RBIs and timely-clutch hits.

“This is good stepping stone for our next two big tournaments — the Colorado Sparkler and PGF Nationals.”

The 16U and 18U divisions got rained out.
