#29 Beverly Bandits Premier-Moran/Lewis 16U claimed the victory over Rhode Island Thunder National-Lotti 18U via forfeit in the championship game of the Easton Invite on Sunday at Orland Park, IL.

2027 SS/UT Kira Bailey (.524 AVG, .583 OBP, 1.202 OPS, 7 SBs), 2028 RHP/SS AJ Jarzab (3-0, 2.67 ERA, 18.1 IP, 22 Ks) and 2028 OF/RHP Kendall Ponatoski (.500 AVG, 1.250 OPS) were the leaders for Beverly Bandits-Moran/Lewis.

“Winning the Easton Invite means a lot to our kids, many of whom came to watch this tournament as kids,” Beverly Bandits coach Adam Lewis said. “It’s a really close group that genuinely loves playing with and for each other.”

#29 Beverly Bandits Premier-Moran/Lewis defeated Sparks-Tholl 18U, 6-3, Select Fastpitch-Jones/Carr 14U, 2-1, Beverly Bandits Premier-Otto 18U, 5-2, Select Fastpitch-Bryn/Jones, 2-1, and Rhode Island Thunder National-Lotti, 7-0 (via forfeit), in bracket games.

Rhode Island Thunder National-Lotti 18U beat St. Louis Chaos-Gentile 18U, 6-4, St. Louis Chaos-Gill 16U, 5-4, Peppers-Wallace 16U, 7-3, New Lenox Lightning-Abbott 18U, 8-0, and lost to #29 Beverly Bandits Premier-Glass, 7-0 (via forfeit), in bracket games.
