18U: IMPACT GOLD-JACKSON 10, TEXAS BOMBERS GOLD-SMITH 4

Impact Gold-Jackson picked up a 10-4 upset over Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, the 18U Alliance National runner-up last summer, in the 18U championship game of the TFL Fall Championship on Sunday at Heritage Park.

North Carolina State-committed 2026 C Maddie Smith hit two homers and drove in four runs to lift Impact Gold in the final. Oklahoma-committed 2026 RHP EK Smith started and went 4.0 innings, allowing four runs with five strikeouts to get the victory. LSU-committed Macie Bryant pitched two scoreless innings of relief with three strikeouts for Impact Gold.

Bryant (14 IP, 0 ER, 17 Ks, .137 BAA), Texas A&M-bound 2026 3B/OF Taylor Hampton (.556 AVG, 2 HRs, 8 RBIs), Houston-bound 2026 OF Cayla Warner (.556 AVG, 5 hits) and North Carolina-committed 2027 SS/3B Mia Martinez (.500 AVG, 2 doubles, 5 RBIs) were Impact Gold’s leaders for the tournament.

“Winning the TFL is huge,” Impact Gold coach KC Jackson said. “We’ve won it several times before, but to go through the gauntlet of Texas softball time and time again and to come out on top is a testament to the hard work and determination from our players and coaches. Not to mention earning our berth and being able to represent TFL in the Alliance Super Cup next summer in Colorado.”

Impact Gold-Jackson defeated Athletics Mercado-Herrera/Reyes, 10-1, Texas Glory, 5-2, and Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, 10-4, in Lone Star bracket play.

Texas Bombers Gold-Smith defeated Bombers Gold American, 4-3, United-Albert, 3-2, and lost to Impact Gold-Jackson, 10-4, in Lone Star bracket play.

16U: TEXAS BOMBERS GOLD-SERIE 3, IMPACT GOLD-JAZZ 1

Texas Bombers Gold-Serie picked up a 3-1 victory over Impact Gold-Jazz, the 16U Alliance Nationals runner-up last summer, in the 16U championship game of the TFL Fall Championship on Sunday at Heritage Park.

2028 RHP Jessica Hinnant allowed four hits, one run and struck out three to record a complete game victory or the Texas Bombers. Arizona State-committed 2027 2B/3B/1B/UT Nia De Luna went 2 for 3 to lead the Bombers’ offense.

Hinnant (14 IP, 8 Ks, 5 hits, .137 BAA) and Baylor-committed 2027 RHP Peyton Philipp (7 IP, 12 Ks, 5 hits, .172 BAA) led the way for the Texas Bombers in the circle.

“This is our third TFL Championship in a row, so anytime you can win a TFL Championship, it’s rewarding,” Texas Bombers coach Dale Serie said. “I am so proud of our team and coaches. Last weekend, in Clearwater, was the first weekend all fall that we had our full team together so to see them go two weekends in a row without losing a game is impressive. Hats off to a great Impact Gold team. It’s always a great game we play.”

Texas Bombers Gold-Serie defeated Impact Gold-Vaughn/Jazz, 10-0, Bombers Gold Ark-La-Tex, 7-0, and Impact Gold-Jazz, 3-1, in Lone Star bracket games.

Impact Gold-Jazz defeated Hotshots National-Torres/Seneca, 6-1, Texas Blaze United-Robertson, 2-0, and lost to Texas Bombers Gold-Series, 3-1, in Lone Star bracket games.

14U: IMPACT GOLD NATIONAL 2029-HOLMES 7, TEXAS GLORY GOLD 0

Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes defeated Texas Glory Gold via forfeit in the 14U championship game of the TFL Fall Championship on Sunday at Heritage Park.

2029 MIF/UT Trinity Hargrett (.588 AVG, 10 hits, 8 runs, 6 RBIs), 2030 3B/C/UT Berkley Ward (.571 AVG, 8 hits, 7 runs, 7 RBIs, 1 HR), 2029 MIF/UT Analiese Holmes (.400 AVG, 6 hits, 7 runs, 5 RBIs, 1 HR), 2029 C/UT Ella McConnell (.400 AVG, 4 runs, 7 RBIs, 1 HR), 2029 RHP Ansley Johnson (13 IP, 0.054 ERA, 20 Ks) and 2029 P/1B London Lambert (18 IP, 3.44 ERA, 10 Ks) were Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes’ leaders.

“This TFL Championship win and Alliance Super Cup berth capped off a great fall season for our team,” Impact Gold coach Chad Holmes said. “It was a great overall team effort this fall. We were gritty, competitive and consistent! We are proud of the growth we showed this fall season and excited to build on this momentum heading into this summer.”

Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes defeated La Slam 2011, 3-0, Glory Adkins Gold, 6-3, Athletics Mercado 2029-Christie/Zito, 6-3, and Texas Glory Gold, 7-0, in Lone Star bracket games.

Texas Glory Gold defeated Impact Gold National-Mendoza, 10-1, Texas Bombers Gold-Malpass, 8-7, Texas Blaze NTX Gold-A. Lopez, 5-2, and lost to Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes, 7-0, in Lone Star bracket games.
