The closer we are as a team, the more dangerous we are as a whole. Even the girls that didn’t get to see the time on the field as much as others played a big role this weekend. We have a very strong pitching staff and some pretty darn good hitters. Our defense, as a whole, was really strong. Our fielding percentage wasn’t to shabby with .939 and we outscored our opponents 45 runs to 8 runs allowed.”
Arizona Rising-Westover defeated Washington Ladyhawks-Seeley, 14-0, Firecrackers AZ-Finn, 8-0, Colorado Angels Gold-Quimby/Becker, 4-2, and Team Hustle=-LaDrigue, 5-2, in bracket games.
