Event Preview: USA Softball All-Star Showcase to Feature Team USA vs. Top Pros & Collegians A Week From Thursday (June 13, 2025)

USA Softball has announced that it will host an All-Star Showcase featuring the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT), professional athletes, and top collegiate athletes coming up a week from this Thursday.

The event will take place at Devon Park in Oklahoma City on June 26 with Team USA matching up against elite collegiate and professional athletes in a doubleheader open to the public.

USA Softball All-Star Showcase

A total of 40 athletes will travel to the Softball Capital of the World® to showcase their skills at the U.S. Women’s National Team Camp, which begins on June 23.

The week-long training camp will feature the USA Softball All-Star Showcase, where Team USA will face off against top collegiate and professional athletes in a doubleheader in preparation for the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, August 13-17.

These back-to-back matchups are scheduled for Thursday, June 26, at Devon Park – OGE Energy Field — starting at 6 pm Central Standard Time.

General admission tickets for the event are available for $20 on SeatGeek. Fans can also purchase parking passes for the Devon Park lot, which cost $20 each and are available on SeatGeek.

“USA Softball is thrilled to host the All-Star Showcase this summer and welcome our athletes who will help prepare our Women’s National Team for the 2025 World Games,” said Chris Sebren.

“This doubleheader promises to feature two exciting match-ups, and we are eager to showcase the talent within our program to the fans,” he added.

Recently announced by USA Softball, head coach Patty Gasso will lead the U.S. in the All-Star Showcase alongside assistant coaches from the USA Softball Coaches Pool. 

The group includes seven current student-athletes, four graduates from the class of 2025, and 29 former student-athletes.

In total, these athletes represent 18 universities across four athletic conferences:

  • SEC (25),
  • Big Ten (9),
  • Big 12 (4), 
  • ACC (2).

 

Oklahoma and UCLA lead the way with seven athletes apiece, followed by Arkansas, LSU, and Texas, which each tab three. Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Washington are each represented by two athletes, while Alabama, Arizona, Florida State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah, and Virginia Tech each have one athlete participating.

The World Games U.S. Roster

Previously announced by USA Softball, the 18-player 2025 U.S. World Games roster includes 16 returners from the 2024 season, including 12 athletes from the 2024 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup where the U.S. earned silver.

Skylar Wallace will make her WNT debut after spending the 2024 season with the U.S. Women’s Elite Team, while Jayda Coleman joins the roster following her participation in the 2019 U-19 Women’s World Cup.

Also highlighting the squad are four members from the 2020 U.S. Olympic Softball Team that helped the Eagles earn silver at the Tokyo Olympic Games — Ally Carda, Rachel Garcia, Dejah Mulipola, and Bubba Nickles.

Of the 18 members, seven athletes will return to the World Games stage after competing in the 2022 edition. Kinzie Hansen, Lexi Kilfoyl and Aubrey Leach will serve as alternates for the roster.
