Vivian Knott, P, Empire State Huskies National – Porcelli/Roberts
Vivian, a lefty pitcher, was lights out all weekend as she didn’t allow an earned run and had 28 strikeouts in 13.2 innings with a 0.4 WHIP.
She also limited opposing hitters to a weak 1.06 batting average against.
“Vivian is an incredible talent and force in the circle,” says Head Coach Penny Roberts.
“She dominated hitters with both excellent velocity and precision with her spins. Vivian effectively throws to both sides of the plate as well as North/South coupled with a filthy change up.”
Not surprisingly, the talented 2027 grad from Darien, Conn. already has earned the attention of P4 coaches after wrapping up a strong Fall season and being what Coach Roberts calls “a leader on and off the field for our team.”
“As far as colleges go,” Coach Roberts explains, “she is being followed closely by many of the top 25 schools and is working through camp invites this Winter to truly figure out her best fit.”
The Huskies head coach believes wherever Vivian ends up, it will be beneficial for both sides.
“The Knotts are such a grounded family and they are a pleasure to work with through her recruiting process,” Roberts concludes.
“Wherever she lands will be getting a gem of a young lady and supportive family.”
