Event News: Last Day of 2025 PGF National Championships Features Intriguing 14U & 12U Matchups (August 3, 2025)

After two weeks of great club softball from 650 teams across the country—from Maine to Hawaii and everywhere in-between—we’ve reached the final day of action.

There are some interesting games to watch and Line Drive will be on-site to cover each of them at DeAnna Manning Stadium in Bill Barber Park (Irvine, Calif.)

The final game of the day will definitely be one to watch as the Athletics Mercado – Tidd team, which has gone 45-1 this summer, will face the Bandits – Chow/Hardin squad which is led by pitching ace Sophia Schlader, the No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2028 and who had a total of 29 strikeouts in her last two games!
