The 2025 NFCA Convention held in Las Vegas has wrapped up and it’s one for the books—it’s the largest in the history of the event in terms of attendees.
As noted by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), which was established in 1983 and has over 7,000 members today:
“It was another record-breaking Convention for the NFCA in 2025. Just one year after eclipsing the 1,800 mark, the Association’s marquee event smashed it out of the park with 2,025 attendees this week. “
“It also includes the biggest Exhibit Show with 200 companies, 321 booths over 800 vendors in the show.”
This year’s convention started Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 9 am and wrapped up today with an eight-hour seminar on the Advanced Analysis of Hitting.

In an article released last night at the conclusion of the bulk of the convention, the NFCA added the following:
The Exhibit Show, which was the largest in NFCA history, featured a record-high 47 first-time companies and over 700 coaches attended the Convention for the first time. This year’s event concluded with the Awards Brunch, a second session of Drills, Drills, Drills, and Super-Saturday edition of education.
After the NFCA’s respective All-America committees conducted business, Drills, Drills, Drills opened with the Florida Atlantic’s Nicole Newman (pitching), Toledo’s Jessica Bracamonte (outfield) and LSU’s Bryce Neal (hitting).
Following drills, the membership recognized their peers at the Awards Brunch. Coaches earned Victory Club milestones, including five members who joined the 1,000-Win Club:

… and capping it off was the sole coach this year to surpass the 1,200 victory mark as head coach

Other highlights included each 2025 ATEC/NFCA National Coaching Staff of the Year winner addressed their peers, along with a video acceptance from Jenna Putala, the Donna Newberry “Perseverance” Award recipient and in-person speeches by OnDeck Softball’s Derek Allister (Melinda Fischer Distinguished Service Award) and NFCA Hall of Famer Kathy Veroni (Humanitarian Award).
The Convention concluded Saturday afternoon withnine educational sessions covering nutrition, defense, bunting & slapping, pitch calling, throwing, baserunning and defense.
