Texas A&M remained the No. 1 team in this week’s NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Texas A&M did clinch its Southeastern Conference (SEC) series at Missouri with 7-5 and 4-3 (9 inn.) victories before being thumped in the finale, 9-1.
The Longhorns (41-6) reached the 40-win plateau with a SEC series win over then-No. 9 LSU. Texas earned come-from-behind walk-off victories in games one and three, while the Tigers (36-10) grabbed a game-two victory.
The Sooners (39-5) slipped to No. 3 after a 3-1 week, which saw them fall on April 14 and drop the series at new-No. 20 Alabama. OU rebounded with a three-game sweep of then-No. 16 Mississippi State at home.
Tennessee and Oregon remained in the No. 4 and No. 5 spots. The Ducks (41-5) reached the 40-win plateau after they notched three wins last week, which included a Big Ten series win over then No. 6 UCLA. The Ducks topped the Bruins (41-7) in games one and three. The Lady Vols (37-9) swept Auburn at home.
An idle Florida State (40-6) inched up to No. 6, while the aforementioned Bruins fell to No. 7. Florida, which took two-of-three from Alabama, stayed put at No. 8, while Arkansas collected three non-conference wins and jumped to No. 9. LSU came in at No. 10.
Texas Tech with its Big 12 series win at No. 12 rose three spots to No. 11, while Virginia Tech plummeted four positions to No. 14 after being defeated two-out-of-three by Pitt in Atlantic Coast Conference action. The loss in the series opener snapped the Hokies’ (37-7) 17-game winning streak.
Also improving their positions this week were No. 16 Ole Miss, No. 19 Clemson, No. 20 Alabama and No. 22 Ohio State.
