The Florida Gators were a unanimous No. 1 selection in the D1Softball Top 25 poll following week one action around the country.

Florida sits at 6-0 after opening week, winning a home contest over North Florida on opening night and posting an undefeated record at the USF-Rawlings Invitational in Tampa. The Gators’ weekend slate included a run-rule win over then-ranked Michigan.
