This week—as part of our National Club Player of the Week series— we honored not just one player but practically the majority of the offense for  Kevin O’Donnell’s Jersey Intensity 16U team.

At The P5 Patriot Games last week, eight hitters had at least one home run and two of them:

• Ella Reynolds, a 2027 outfielder/shortstop (#4), and
• Josselyn Grimsley, a 2027 centerfielder (#24)

… had four bombs apiece!

Here are the other half dozen hitters who drove the ball over the fence at the event played in Aurora, Colo.

• Kelsey Smith (#16, 2026 corner infielder),
• Cassidy Smith (#15, 2026 catcher),
• Laura Chae “LC” Robbins (#44, 2027 shortstop),
• Izzy Cino, (#00, 2027, middle infielder),
• Bella Wuelfing (#12, 2027 outfield)
• Ryan McIntosh (#32, 2026 corner infielder).

All told, the Intensity batters now affectionately called “The Bomb Squad” smacked 14 home runs in five games!

But it wasn’t just their slugging prowess that helped them; go to the 2:00 mark in the video and you’ll see the array of “mascots” that bring the hitters good luck! And they all agreed: the one who “help

Pity the opposing pitchers facing the Intensity sluggers the rest of the summer who know it’s probably not feasible to walk all eight of them!
