The Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS) is being held all week in Kokomo, IN (All rankings are Line Drive Hot 50 Club National Rankings):

In 16U Tier 1 Super Regionals:

2026 1B Avery Dunneback, who went 2 for 2, had an RBI single in the top of the 6th inning to give Turnin2-Pezz/King the lead in a 5-4 win over #5 Firecrackers Select-Brashear.

“Just a great team softball,” Turnin2 coach Ron Pezzoni said. “(We) pitched very well. (We got)some big, timely hits and we played very well defensively for the most part. (I’m) super proud of what these 15-year-olds are doing out here!!!” …

BYU-committed 2025 C/1B Kaiya Fabela went 1 for 3 with a double, a run and three RBIs to lift #4 Impact Gold-Jazz to a 7-3 win over Midwest Speed National-Wagner. …

2027 C/1B/OF Emily Souders went 1 for 3 with two RBIs and 2026 C/UT Presley Kilgore went 2 for 2 as #20 Texas Glory-Shelton defeated Indiana Magic Gold-Moore, 4-1. …

2026 3B/SS Addison Otto hit a solo homer in the top of the 7th inning and LSU-committed 2025 P Cali Deal tossed a one-hitter with six strikeouts as #31 Texas Bombers Gold-Serie beat Corona Angels-Slye, 1-0. …

2027 1B/3B/C Kyler Edelen went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and five RBIs as Texas Unity-Smith knocked off Unity-Slezak, 9-4. …

Uncommitted 2025 OF Kenzie Gulley went 3 for 3 with two runs to help Louisville Ladt Sluggers-Watnen to an 8-0 victory over ai Bandits-Breer. …

In 18U Tier 1 Super Regionals:

Purdue-bound 1B Jensen Krantz went 2 for 4 with three RBIs to help Extreme Elite National hold off #26 Epic National-Smith, 11-10.

“It was a total grind!” Extreme coach Krista Stoker said. “The girls have absolutely battled every single pitch — between competitive at-bats, pitchers grinding it out and our incredible energy in the dugout. I’m proud to be their coach! There’s no higher test of a team than the Alliance Nationals tournament structure and it’s been fun to watch the girls rise to the occasion.” …

Central Florida-bound C/1B Beth Damon hit a grand slam, Oklahoma-committed 2025 MIF Allyssa Parker went 3 for 3 with a run and an RBI and Missouri-committed 2025 1B/OF Sidney Forrester went 2 for 3 with a double, a home run and three RBIs for #7 Aces Fastpitch Club in a 9-1 win over #31 Tampa Mustangs-Rene. …

2027 3B/C Riley Hilliard went 2 for 3 with a homer and four RBIs, Oklahoma-committed 2025 CF Kai Minor went 3 for 3 with a run and Florida-bound OF Taylor Shumaker went 3 for 4 with a double a run and two RBIs as #1 OC Batbusters-Stith, the two-time defending Alliance national champion, picked up a 12-1 win over Bombers Gold-Jacoby.

“The win was good,” Shumaker said. “(It) showed us how we can get good looks off good pitchers. I feel confident in our performances so far.” …

2026 LF Terriana Kelley went 2 for 4 with a double, a run and three RBIs, 2027 CF Mattea Stern went 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs and 2026 2B Madelyn Armendariz went 1 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs to help OC Batbusters-Stith/Black defeat Wisconsin Lightning 2024/25, 9-3.

“It was a good team win,” Batbusters coach Katie Stith said. “We went down, 3-0, in the 1st, but responded quickly. I am really proud of the girls for not panicking and continuing to put offensive pressure on a solid Wisconsin Lightning team the entire game.

“They’re coming together at the right time. We have been a little inconsistent this summer, but they’re proving they’re a solid team. We still have a lot of work to do.” …

Kentucky-bound RHP Carson Fall was perfect with five strikeouts in four innings as Texas Glory overwhelmed Firecrackers Brashear, 12-0. …

Arkansas-committed 2025 RHP Saylor Timmerman pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts in seven innings as #16 Impact Gold-Jackson beat OC Batbusters-Stith/Maroon, 4-0.

“I think the no-hitter today will give our whole team a boost of confidence going into the final day of Super Regionals tomorrow,”Timmermann said. “Overall, our defense is playing cohesively and our offense is doing a great job of being aggressive and putting pressure on the other team’s defense.” …

Ohio State-bound RHP Kassandra Gewecke pitched four innings for the win, UCLA-committed 2025 MIF/3B Bri Alejandre and LSU-committed 2025 SS/3B Ci’ella Pickett each drove in a run and UCLA-bound MIF Aleena Garcia went 2 for 3 as #10 Corona Angels-Tyson defeated OC Batbusters-Lara, 5-1. …
