Mississippi State-committed 2026 SS Megan Woodridge recently talked to Line Drive Media about Impact Caymol, PGF Nationals, tough competition, playing Little League and travel baseball, Sept. 1st experience and Mississippi State, sports management, sports marketing, Sophie Woodridge, “The Energy Bus,” Megan Moroney, “Gilmore Girls,” ” The Notebook” and baking.

Nickname: People just call me “Megan,” but when I played baseball, I was called “The Meganator.” This nickname was given to me by my Little League All-Star baseball team. Some of the baseball families still call me that!

Honors: #13 in the 2026 Line Drive Hot 100, PGF All-American (2024), CNY Defensive Player of the Year (2024), 1st Team All-League for HS and batting average champion (2024) and USSSA 12U champions and MVP of the tournament.

High School Spring Stats: .590 AVG, .710 OBP, 3 HRs and 17 doubles.

Travel Ball Summer 2024 Stats: .463 AVG, .495 OBP, 12 doubles, 8 HRs and .980 fielding percentage.
