THE FINAL PITCH: BIG WEEKEND

Many of the top club programs in the national will be in action as the fall season heats up all around the country.

Here are the top tournaments this weekend:

***Scenic City Fall Top 25 is Friday-Sunday in Dalton/Rocky Face, GA: Tennessee Mojo-Ramsey/Fisher and Athletics Mercado-Smith were the 18U co-champions last season and Beverly Bandits Premier-Moran/Otto are the defending 16U champions.

Athletics Mercado-Smith, Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier, Beverly Bandits Premier-Meredith/Trackwell and Top Gun National-Turner are some other top contenders in 18U.

Athletics Mercado-Hovermale/Tidd, the defnding PGF 16U Premier national champion, is the top contender or the 16U Scenic City title. Beverly Bandits Premier-Conry, Impact Gold-Jazz and Athletics Mercado 2011-Tidd look like top 15U contenders.

***Bombers Exposure Weekend is Friday-Sunday in College Station, TX, is one of the top showcases of the fall.

Arizona Rising-Appel, the defending PGF 18U Premier national champion, Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, Texas Glory, Impact Gold-Jackson and Texas Blaze United-Roberston are some of the top 18U teams.

Impact Gold-Jazz, Top Gun National-Sciara, Texas Glory, Texas Bombers Gold and Unity-Amsler/Johnson are some of the top 16U teams.

Texas Bombers Gold-Malpass, the defending 14U Alliance national champion, and Corona Angels-Tyson are some of the top 14U contenders.

***The HFL Fall Championship is Friday-Sunday in Chesterfield, MO, and will also feature an Alliance Super Cup Qualifier.

Aces Fastpitch Club, the defending 18U Alliance national champion, and Iowa Premier National-Dickel are the top contenders in 18U.

Iowa Premier National-Dickel/Shannon, St. Louis Chaos National-Perone/Beatty and Aces Fastpitch Club are some of the top contenders in 16U.

Aces Fastpitch Club nd Iowa Premier National are some of the top contenders in 14U.

***The Alliance Super Cup Southwest Qualifier is Saturday-Sunday at Chino Hills/Lake Elsinore/Perris, CA.

OC Batbusters-Stith, Corona Angels-Tyson and Firecrackers Select-Rico/Brashear are the top 18U contenders.

Firecrackers Select-Brashear and Corona Angels-Slye are some of the top 16U contenders.

Corona Angels-Tyson and Firecrackers Brashear are some of the top 14U contenders.
