Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I joined LTG last fall and I became involved with them because I played in high school with many LTG players, which allowed me to be seen by LTG coaches. I love my team and my coaches and I always look forward to team practice.

Tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals? I always love playing in the PGF Nationals. I have been playing in Nationals since I was 13 (years old). The atmosphere and competition is so much fun. My team fell short in bracket play this past year, but we are ready to be back at Huntington (Beach) this summer.

What makes players from the state of California special? Players from California always bring the best competition in the country. It might be because we can practice all year in the amazing weather, but there are also many California teams/orgs, which allow for a variety of competition.

Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? The team that has been my toughest opponent is Lady Magic-Munoz. I think it is because of their very strong lineup and abundance of lefty power hitters.

What have you faced/overcome in life that has made you the person you are today? I have had to balance high school grades while playing travel softball, which has taught me the importance of time management. It has also taught me to always value my friends and family above all.

Do you have any family members/siblings that are athletes? Kristi Prior, mom, played Division 1 softball at the University of Delaware; Ella Prior, sister, plays tennis and swims; and Alan Prior, dad, has played many sports, including cricket and rugby.

What are you looking for in a future college? I am looking for a school with a variety of majors and a strong athletics program. I also would like good academics and funding.

What college camps have you attended and are you planning to attend and why? I have attended Stanford, Oregon, Cal Poly, SDSU, USD, Columbia, UCSB and Santa Clara. I have attended these camps because they were relatively easy to reach and they are all very good athletic and academic schools.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am currently undecided for my major.

What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? My favorite subject to study in school is English because I really like to read.

Who is your sports hero and why? My sports hero is my Mom (Kristi Prior) because she always works very hard and was an All-American in college. I also admire her approach and mindset to pitching.

What’s your favorite book to read and why? My favorite book to read is “Red Rising” (by Pierce Brown). It is very funny and I really like science fiction.

What’s the best hype song and why? The best hype song is “Gonna Fly Now” (by Bill Conti) from the “Rocky” movie. It just really motivates me to keep going.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite TV show is “The Office.” I think it is so funny and never gets old.

What’s your favorite movie and why? I have two favorite movies — “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” and “Madagascar.” They make me laugh every time and I love them.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? Over and above my killer change-up, I am a really great baker and am in a baking club in school.
