Nickname: “D-Money” or “D.” A parent on my second-year 10U team gave me the nickname “D-Money” during a strong season for me both pitching and hitting. Parents would yell, “Let’s go, D-Money,” when I pitched and there was also a popular softball cheer using “D-Money” when I hit. It stuck and “D” became the shortened version.
