Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? Breakers Labs is a local travel organization that I’ve been familiar with for years since I played against many of their players in rec ball. I was playing for an Athletic Mercado team that is no longer together, so I decided to try out for the Breakers Labs team. It was a really good transition and I love playing for this organization and team.

Tell us about your high school team? I played my 2023/2024 freshman year on the varsity team. Sage Creek Bobcats were in D3 to start the year, but after finishing as co-champs for our conference and making it to the CIF championships, we were moved up to D2 for next year’s high school season.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals and your approach to the event this summer? I am always impressed at the level of talent at PGF and enjoy seeing and playing against teams from all over the US. Being around and playing against all these talented athletes pushes me to become stronger, faster, smarter and a better player overall. My approach for this coming PGF is to challenge and push myself to perform at the highest level and do everything I can to help my team.

Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? There’s not one player or team that has been the toughest. There are a lot of teams and players we have played against that compete at a very high level. Birmingham Thunderbolts and Athletics Mercado Tidd are a few of those teams.

What have you faced/overcome in life that has made you the person you are today? I think one thing that I have faced and overcome is when others judge a book by its cover. I think my small size is surprising to some and I’ve had to prove that small (playrs) can play big and be strong and dynamic.

What are you looking for in a future college? A great education and a campus and environment that’s a good fit for me.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am very interested in sports photography/journalism. I love softball, but also have a passion for sports overall. I like to watch all sports and follow players and love to capture moments and tell stories through photos.

What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? I really enjoy English because of the teacher I had for my first year in high school. The class was hard and required me to challenge myself, but he also made it fun and enjoyable to learn.

Who is your sports hero and why? Teagan Kavan (is) one of my sports heroes. She is a dynamic pitcher, who plays for Texas and has inspired me to improve my ability in pitching so that I can achieve my dreams.

What’s your favorite book to read and why? “The Outsiders” (by SE Hinton) is my favorite book because I relate to the story of staying true to who you are and proving your worth to others.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Love” by Keyshia Cole because it reminds me of a memory with my travel team when we were screaming this song from the top of our lungs in the dugout before playing a championship game. It was hilarious, fun and got us pumped for the game.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite TV show is “Gilmore Girls” because I love the characters, relatable issues and where it takes place.

What’s your favorite movie and why? My favorite movie is either “10 Things I Hate About You” or “Definitely, Maybe” because they are movies my sister and I love watching together.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? I used to do Tahitian dancing before I started playing softball.
