Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I started playing for the Batbusters’ organization in 10U. My parents researched different organizations and they felt that (the) Batbusters would be a good fit for me.

Tell us about your experience at Alliance Nationals? The past couple years Alliance Nationals has been a great experience, playing competitive teams from across the country. In 10U, we took 2nd place. In 12U, we were in Indiana for AFCS (and) I played for Batbusters-Stith/Juarez and we lost the championship series, taking 2nd. Last year, we were in California for AFCS (and) I played for Batbusters-Stith/Garcia. We didn’t finish how we had hoped too, so I’m hoping this year we will win it all with my current team, Batbusters-Stith/AG.

What makes players from the state of California special? California has some of the best players and teams in the country. We have the ability to play year-round, facing great competition in high school and travel ball.

What was your highlight of the fall? What have you been focusing on this offseason? My highlight of the fall was making multiple of the AGL Alliance offensive leaderboards. This offseason, I’ve been working on maintaining a positive and stable mindset. I’m in the weight room two-three times a week and training to become more explosive and staying consistent.

Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? Texas Bombers was one of the toughest teams we’ve faced because they would compete and were very talented.

What have you faced/overcome in life that has made you the person you are today? My biggest challenge I’ve faced was switching from the right side of the plate to the left. I struggled with learning how to slap and hit. There were many times I wanted to stop and go back to hitting right-handed. Although It was frustrating, it taught me to become stronger physically and mentally. This obstacle shaped me into who I am today because I learned the meaning of perseverance, determination and confidence.

Do you have any family members/siblings that are athletes? Miles Scott, brother, plays baseball at Servite High.

What are you looking for in a future college? I’m looking for a good academic program with quality education, along with a competitive and athletic softball team with supportive coaches and teammates to push me to my best ability.

What college camps have you attended and are you planning to attend and why? I have attended LSU, Arizona (and) UCLA softball camps so far.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I’m interested in being an interior designer or a part of a business.

What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? Biology is my favorite subject to study in school because it reveals how all the different living organisms and cells help the human body function.

Who is your sports hero and why? (NBA legend) Kobe Bryant is my sports hero because he was always determined to be better and had an incredible work ethic.

What’s your favorite book to read and why? “Wonder” by RJ Palacio has always been one of my favorite books to read because it really demonstrates the different perspectives and how people can view things very differently than others.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Pump It Up” (by) Endor because it puts me in a good mood with energy and excites me to play.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “Family Feud” because Steve Harvey is funny and my family and I enjoy watching it together.

What’s your favorite movie and why?Moana” is my favorite movie because it’s about a young girl who works independently with everything she does.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? I don’t have a secret talent, but I have many special talents.
